Winter's Lesson's, of Nature's Thoughts...

The winter season comes upon us no matter which part of the globe we inhabit. For us it's been New England most of our lives. Does it make us hardy, strong & weathered? That I can't say for certain. I only know, what it is I know, & then perhaps,... then some...

This beautiful earth we call home, holds answers deep within. Whether we are happy, tired, joyful, or sad, the answers, may remain dormant or hidden, nonetheless, they are here, for each of us, to discover...

Seemingly we can feel at times, like any character in a Beatles song, be it a, no man's man, an Eleanor, or one who inhabits a silly, colorful, yet marvelous, garden of octopus. These characters & creatures sing out to us, evoking sympathy, empathy, elation & joy. Many of us still listen to these sound tracks, in our very minds....

None of us will ever be able to walk in an other's shoes, much as one's experience of being born, & then to eventually come to the end of a lifespan, when one is leaving. Nothing will ever change this, it is what we are born into, but we can certainly build upon an enrichment of the experience that is laid out before us on the day we took our first breath.

We will never leave the gate at the same starting point, & though our DNA will always have us striving to the point of our fittest's survival, still, we will all experience what it is to be fully human, in our own unique & personal ways.

How simple, yet complex this all is, for ultimately we are as beautiful yet fragile at times, as any snowflake. That is what winter has continued to teach me....
