Choices

Choices seem limited, nonetheless....
it's attitude's needed to fine tune our minds
to make or break everyone of our days
as Antarctic rains more historic than ours
rise & froth to the surface of time.

Nighttime In Our Corner Of The World

It's 2 degrees & as beautiful as it is tonight it's just not right for our pooch ~Dolly~

It was always her eyes always,
they deeply convey what language could never express
the trust & unconditional love of a dog & her family.

Deep Winter Thoughts

Above is our wintry view. The weather people are calling this latest storm a Bomb Cyclone.
Such a strange classification for a blizzard nonetheless no matter how it's termed it's mysterious beauty captivates.
The white upon white & dabs of color brings forth a peaceful feeling as long as everyone remains safe from the storm.

Wishing all in it's path safety, warmth & peace.~xo~

Still Digging Out After The Holidays

We traveled far & wide on New Year's Day spending time with friends who moved to the shoreline this past year. Having a dear dear friend for 40+ years from the time our eldest sons were toddlers is pretty awesome. Her mother called us soul sisters & that we are~! So because we were away yesterday I was a little behind on the ole "to do list"which I'm presently only half way done with now, but feel better knowing tomorrow will not be be over the top in exhaustion. We all need to take care of our body, mind, & spirit, & the more we do it the better we feel. It's a hard realization knowing one can't do it all, all at once, but practice does makes better.
Our Writing Group meets tomorrow & on top of today's list for me was to make a new batch of Peace Magnets to share with my talented friends in the group. There they are in the above pic all set to be packed along with the poems I plan to read.
I've shared my Peace Pins & Magnets before, & enjoy utilizing them for fundraising. Most recently I've done this in conjunction with our interfaith group for our local Daily Bread Food Pantry. I love making & sharing them because the designs are fun to create & I especially enjoy working with the positive colors. They are labor intensive taking lots of time, but the process is so enjoyable that sharing them along with their positive inclusive message is a win win. Once again, ~Alls Well That Ends Well~!
