Trees of Skyward Ice & Elegant Beauty

Everything was covered in glare ice...
Even the deer had a slippery time of it, as my husband explained that this hoof print is so large because of the deer's slipping..

Dolly has been fine company, she's well behaved now, quite the comparrison to a year ago. She has two spots upstairs that she can call her own. One is in the kitchen of course, & the other right by my side as I click along on the computer. She'll difinately keep me company as I have a rather significant project to get going with...

Well this great blizzard, is finally behind us, for now anyway. One does not truly know what tomorrow will bring & we'll just have to see with the weather. We live in a hilly section of the woods & it has all been covered with ice. Boots with cleats therefore were a necessity, & just one more day of being cooped inside was not going to work out too well. It was truly a wonderful experience to feel the earth under foot once again. No, nothing quite like it.
Yes, ter-a firm-a , isn't that what Tiger once said...

First I want to congratulate Dolly for becoming an "indoor" dog...I'm so proud of you, keep up the good work!
Your pictures were lovely Cheryl...and I'm so glad you're finally able to set foot out doors once more to enjoy the clean crisp air. Hopefully the rest of the winter will be easier to deal with. LOL. b. Malin
