Welcome To March, Woman's History Month 2011

Make no mistake, we've got many a story to tell....
I was told way back in the 70's that women made up over 50% of the world population, yet we were then classified a minority. Go figure...
So here we are in the month of March, which has been designated some decades ago as Women's History Month. It certainly is an oxymoron of sorts, this designation of us being a minority, but we're pretty smart & resourceful us "wo man kind", & we still have a zillion or two, of a story to tell, of that I remain forever thankful. For woman not only bear forth all of humanity, & in keeping of most of our natures, we do nurture & care for all of the peoples, of our precious planet earth.

Amen

Hi there special friend, from my world of superb writers-

How nice that u* liked the first photo. I've had it in my archive for years, it's from an exhibit at the Smithsonian, & it seems to say so much, in such little space.
Much like a poem, which will be on the next posting....
