My husband, son and I attended the 11th Annual Sunflowers For Wishes yesterday. You can't not smile around thousands of sunflowers, it's impossible! This event is held in conjunction with the Make A Wish Foundation, of Connecticut.
Who could ever resist the temptation of thousands of sunflowers ready to go! By the time we arrived there were hundreds of cars parked along the road, luckily the good graces of the car parking genie was upon us so nary an issue in that department.
This is only the second time we were able to make it to this wonderful event. Summers of course can move fast, and in the blink of an eye those stunning blooms are part of our most colorful memories. It is always a thrill to be among so many positive people, a reminder that glasses often are more than half full, and the collective consciousness of the human spirit continues to function at it's most loving and highest level.
