Still Digging Out After The Holidays

We traveled far & wide on New Year's Day spending time with friends who moved to the shoreline this past year. Having a dear dear friend for 40+ years from the time our eldest sons were toddlers is pretty awesome. Her mother called us soul sisters & that we are~! So because we were away yesterday I was a little behind on the ole "to do list"which I'm presently only half way done with now, but feel better knowing tomorrow will not be be over the top in exhaustion. We all need to take care of our body, mind, & spirit, & the more we do it the better we feel. It's a hard realization knowing one can't do it all, all at once, but practice does makes better.
Our Writing Group meets tomorrow & on top of today's list for me was to make a new batch of Peace Magnets to share with my talented friends in the group. There they are in the above pic all set to be packed along with the poems I plan to read.
I've shared my Peace Pins & Magnets before, & enjoy utilizing them for fundraising. Most recently I've done this in conjunction with our interfaith group for our local Daily Bread Food Pantry. I love making & sharing them because the designs are fun to create & I especially enjoy working with the positive colors. They are labor intensive taking lots of time, but the process is so enjoyable that sharing them along with their positive inclusive message is a win win. Once again, ~Alls Well That Ends Well~!
