Peace Love And Healing To all On Planet Earth

Welcome to the Gregorian Year 2018~!

And We Persisted-

Dedicated To The 2nd Woman's March January 20th, 2018, Wherever You May be

& inspired by the incredible members of Quiet Corner Shouts! an affiliate of
 National Woman's March est. January 21, 2017

Long live our planet, the solar system too

Long live the lives that fathom in the blue

Long live the spirt of all kind hearted folks

Long live the comics that share a lasting joke

Long live all creatures the animals & us

Long live dissenters who know just when to fuss

Long live the plants the rocks & varried trees

Long live the flowers the prize of worker bees

Long live our wisdom no matter what they say

Long live the winds of hope each moment of the day

Long live the music that teaches us to play

Long live all that's good the rest is not OK

Long live an honesty as we reach for the sky

Long live a justice true when they put forth their lie

Long live our childhood dreams may they not all go bad

Long live our world to heal for it's the human plan

Long live an open heart it's basically the key

Long live what's meant to live for us to all be free

Long live this endless list it's useless yet so real

It says this much & nothing more my endless rhythmed spiel-

Down with hypocricy

Down with hate

Down with bigotry

Of this there's no mistake

Down with evil

In our country too

Down with greedy crooks

With ties of red & blue

Down with corrupt laws

That rob the sick & poor

Down with the need for this my feelings are so raw

Down with complaining it doesn't do a thing

So off we'll go to make it right

This New Year's just the thing-

We march we sing, we chant our truth sincerely do our parts

Our time is now, the moments here Our History lights the spark

I've said what's said, & said a truth no Party's got our hold

You do it right & then we'll vote to meet our basic goals.

Saying Farewell To 2017

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..."  Thank You~ Charles Dickens, & so it remains...

It's that time of year when we attempt to tie up some of the loose ends we've seemingly cast off during the furries of our lives. 2017 has certainly been one of those times when darken clouds brought forth storms ravaging many a body, mind & spirit. Natural disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes, & raging wild fires are now part of this year's natural world history. Also political unrest throughout the world continues to bring forth manmade loss of life & ongoing suffering. In order to remain sane many of us continue to find it healing to help even when the tragedy is in another part of the world by acting local- we attend benefit concerts or prayer vigils to support one another whenever we can, & continue in our involvement with community groups that support our philosophical activism which is purposeful & fulfilling, working very hard to find creative ways in order to donate financial aid to areas that need our help both local & far away.
Here in the United States hundreds of thousands remain upset regarding the Presidential Election of 2016 because the person who was elected as president has unleashed a tsunami of hate, disrespect & lack of compassion. The disrespect coming from his administration is aimed not only at human beings, but at our very planet. It is because of this that I haven't been able to compose my thoughts for the Peace Garden for sometime now.
The intention of this blog is to put forth thoughts & ideas to benefit peace in this world, & the challenge was & is how to go forward in doing so without turning these pages into a space of anx & grievances. After much thought & consideration I've decided to continue with this blog by contributing to our garden of ideas which is the mission of Mother Lightning's Peace Garden. I will continue to share perspectives of what it means from a person of my gender born after WWII in a newly released Nuclear Age- a time that was most historic & has shadowed Our World ever since, because now it becomes more relevant with each passing day to, Make Art Not War~xo~
