Orbital Vibes

The shortest day on circular years

we cast great light to guard off fear

we sing to suns & planets far

we dance these nights with winter stars

to heal our hearts, to heal our earth

a hushed intent removes our yoke~

to waste not want not during mirth

a million years on jagged turf,

spring’s hope’s eternal truths don’t lie

in keeping with this season’s tide

it’s colors sparkle, bend with light

each Solstice sings of earth’s delight.

A Breath Of Fresh Air

Am finally back to painting, & it feels just right-

It's been a long three years finding my way back to the Peace Garden, yet in many ways it zoomed by at rapid speed.  Life's mysterious that way regarding ongoing situations, yet the world continues at it's usual pace. The oil painting above is entitled A Breath Of Fresh Air which is a continuous process which I'll go into during some upcoming posts. 

Am glad to be back, & am feeling ever so positive about my return. The world as we know is filled with a combination of both positive & negative factors which is true in many a mathematical equation. These factors are definitely a human puzzlement of which we've pondered since the beginning of our existence. So far we've been able to proceed one step in front of the next, a humble goal for most all over planet earth.

The painting A Breath Of Fresh Air was done at my friend Laureen's studio of who is in this photo. It is presently a work in progress, as is a life, one breath at a time.
